The biodegradable Malo Bag is made of the most beautiful and luxurious COMPOSTABLE fabrics.

The tote pouch is made from one of the most natural, organic and sturdy fibre there is:
A beautiful 100% Oeko-Tex certified LINEN produced in small batches in Eastern Europe where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen fabric.
The colours are natural creamy white Linen with bold stripes of mustard yellow, sage green and rust orange.

The inside of the tote pouch and the outside of the woolly pouch (the naturally insulated part of the Malo Bag) are made from one of the most sustainable fibre there is:
100% OEKO-TEX 100 certified TENCEL Lyocell which is a natural fibre made from sustainably sourced wood pulp.

The colour is a beautiful deep mustard and the feel of this fabric is smooth and beautifully silky.
​
The woolly pouch is removable.
100% recycled Australian
sheep wool is used to insulate the woolly pouch and offer you the best insulation there is!
​
It is entirely padded as the sheep wool is hand sewed then weaved all around to offer maximal insulation.
​
All you need to do is slide the woolly pouch in and out of your Malo Bag to suit your needs.
​
When you remove the insulated woolly pouch from the Malo Bag, you have a luxurious large tote bag.

The Malo Bag BIODEGRADABLE has a

When your bag is rolled down and closed, the content is kept perfectly cold for up to 6 hours.

There are two large shoulder straps for good comfort: 50cm long from the shoulder and a large pocket at the back of the bag for your wallet, keys, sunscreen, sunglasses, cuttlery... and so on!
The only part of the BIODEGRADABLE Malo Bag that is not 100% natural is the inside lining of the woolly pouch as a cooler bag needs to be fully waterproof.

We use a water resistant polyester canvas which, when combined with the high power of moisture absorption and humidity minimisation of the sheep wool, creates a perfectly insulated and waterproof cooler bag.
And very easy to clean in cases of accidental food or drinks leaks as the waterproofing of this canvas allows easy wiping as liquids bead on it and so do not get absorbed.
